Aims :
Cultivating students' emotional intelligence and personal well-being through both face-to-face and digital artificial intelligence activities that primarily promote their emotional empowerment, as well as critical thinking, autonomy, and reflection. This program aims to help students develop and cultivate skills to recognize their emotions, improve their interpersonal relationships, act preventively against bullying phenomena within the school community, and, of course, enhance their abilities and knowledge in the foreign language. Finally, this program seeks to empower students in a multifaceted way to cope with and manage all the challenges that the new reality of artificial intelligence imposes on modern education and their broader lives.
Work process :
Our collaboration with partner schools will focus on close coordination and shared responsibilities to ensure a smooth and productive workflow. The key aspects of our work process are as follows:
Responsibilities:
Partner School Role:
Contribute ideas and co-develop materials.
Share resources, expertise, and tools.
Engage in joint planning and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Our Role:
Facilitate communication and project management.
Lead in organizing activities and providing guidance on digital tools and AI resources.
Monitor project progress and ensure that timelines are met.
Calendar of Activities:
October:
Initial planning and setup meetings with partners to outline objectives, responsibilities, and timelines.
First online meeting of the teachers participating in the program.
Introduction of the students participating in the program with presentations of their schools (on Digipad).
Digital creation of an "Alphabet of Emotions" (Students recognize emotions, name them, identify their origins, understand the concept of needs - Maslow's hierarchy of needs, and realize how needs lead to the creation of behaviors).
November:
First online student meeting – Online games related to emotions.
Theme of the Month: Physical well-being – The ability to improve one's body function through healthy eating and good exercise habits. Activities in the schoolyard – Yoga sessions and relaxation exercises, as well as muscle strengthening exercises. Creation of a poster showcasing the benefits of exercise for well-being in the school environment (using Canva, Genially).
Creation of presentations with tips for healthy eating (using Wepik).
December:
Exchange of Christmas cards with the theme of emotions (using Bing Creator).
Second online student meeting – Creation of online games (Blooket/Kahoot/Quizz) related to Emotional Well-being – Theme of the month.
January:
Digital Emotional Compass (students discuss their emotions and ways to manage them). Societal Well-being – Theme of the month.
Trello.com boards with cards for each emotion, where students can add examples, emotional management strategies, and track their progress.
Creation of a program logo and voting for the best one (poll for all).
Mid-term evaluation of the program with Google Forms for students and teachers.
February:
**Art as a Tool for Emotion Management – Well-being through Art** – Theme of the month.
Digital tools like Google Arts & Culture help us identify famous works of art, allowing students to express the emotions these pieces evoke in them.
Creation of collaborative worksheets on the topic: Art and Emotion.
Creation of artworks related to emotions with the help of artificial intelligence.
Using DALL-E/Bing Creator, students will generate images that depict their chosen emotion based on text descriptions. Students can edit their images using DeepArt to apply artistic styles or use Artbreeder to modify and combine elements from famous artists.
March:
Understanding and Addressing the Phenomenon of School Bullying – Well-being at school = Fighting against bullying – Theme of the month.
Creation of posters (handmade or digital) and competition between schools.
April:
Well-being and Artificial Intelligence: Students create their own chatbots, observe, develop, and compare how emotions are managed by AI versus humans in various realistic scenarios.
Chatbot development platforms like Dialogflow can be used.
May:
Creation of a collaborative video on the value of emotions and how to nurture them in the era of artificial intelligence.
Final design of the e-me for all hive with activities/worksheets related to well-being, organized by month and activity.
Evaluation and assessment of the program using Google Forms and Mentimeter.
Expected results :
We are planning many common products such as the creation of a public Twinspace, including songs, e-books, and the development of a hive on **e-me for all**, where interested educators can find and use resources in their classrooms if they intend to introduce this theme into their lessons.
